Hey there, I have a quick question. I am currently working on a game with a huge map, including huge mountains and giant terrain. I am talking upwards of 10000x10000 studs. Thank you for any help ...

Tldr; to do it, go to your roblox install directory is (Wherever RobloxPlayerBeta.exe is.)
What do you want to achieve? Was wondering if it is possible to decrease the render distance which users are able to see without them having to lower their graphics quality? What is the issue? My game is an obby type project and contains over 200k parts in total, this can be intensive on some mobile users and the lag situation could EASILY be fixed if their actual render distance can be ...
The reason I want to have 1080p (or any resolution really) 60 fps on the highest setting is because for some reason ROBLOX has both render distance and render quality in the same slider, which makes it really annoying to get tons of render distance without sacrificing fps.

The low view distance is to improve performance on weaker devices, and as far as I know there's no way to disable it. If you want a lower level of detail with a high view distance, you'd need to find a game with low quality builds and play it on high graphic settings.
Currently the render distance of particles is very small. We’re trying to put explosion effects to our ships but they are not visible from far away which is very annoying. It is currently impossible to create nice particle effects far away from the camera. Things like smoke and fire should be able to be seen from far away with at least some detail. It’s simply too hard to create nice ...
If so, the only way to do this that I could think of would be to place the parts right in front of the camera but scale them down immensely to create the illusion of distance. This would only work well with basic parts with DataModelMeshes though I believe, since last I checked you cannot resize parts or UnionOperations under .2,.2,.2 studs

Okay, so basically I’m trying to build a city for a project of mine that’s in the works. At the moment, progress is going smoothly and I’m currently enjoying the results that are being made. Turning off FramerateManager via ROBLOX Studio will change the render distance to be the highest distance in the current Quality Level’s render range, and the Quality Level will still affect the final render distance. As for ensuring that a certain object is always rendered, as far as I’m aware there’s no way to do this unfortunately. ...
Anyway, what I want is a way to separate your render distance from the quality level of materials around you. If you’ve ever played PF you know that some maps are fairly far across and I find that in order to see across the map I have to turn my graphics up. But I don’t need better material quality, I just need to be able to see further.
