The Mark Twain Tree the oldest and largest living organisms on Earth
In 1892, a family posed in front of a 1,341-year-old Sequoia tree known as "Mark Twain," which was located in the Pacific Northwest. This towering tree stood at an impressive height of 331 feet (100 meters) before it was felled by two men who spent 13 days cutting it down.
