At a Walt Disney Imagineering media event, we learned that these BDX Droids will be back in Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland from April 5th through June 2nd during the Season of the Force! You can find them at various locations around Black Spire Outpost throughout the day.

The droids sailed on the Disney Wish earlier this year. They visited Tokyo Disneyland last month and will appear at Walt Disney World later this year. They will make their on-screen debut in “The Mandalorian & Grogu,” in theaters on May 22, 2026. The BDX droids earned the 2025 Thea Award for Outstanding Achievement – Technical Innovation.

The BDX Droids of Galaxy's Edge can be seen waddling their way around Batuu greeting and interacting with Visitors. Debuting during the 2024 "Season of the Force", two bipedal BDX Droids known as "Besh" (blue) and "Grek" (green) play and dance their way through the pathways of Batuu entertaining Guests with their balance and poise.

Originally, interactive, roaming droids were promised to appear in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, though that project never came to fruition. According to sources, Disney decided that the lands would be too crowded in the opening weeks and months at Disneyland and Walt Disney World to have the droids attempt to roll through the streets of Batuu without fail or incident.
