The Digital Transformation Roadmap builds onto the commitments set under the Digital Uganda Vision by focusing on that that we must do as a country to achieve operational momentum and make great strides that translates paper to action.
We have, thus, developed this Digital Uganda Vision as roadmap towards our transformation into a digital society. The Digital Uganda Vision is a collective determination derived from study, exchange of ideas among our national experts, multi-sectoral dialogues and complemented by lessons from international experience.
The roadmap that spans a period of five years (FY2023/24-2027/28) spells out key enablers aimed at actualizing aspirations embedded in the Digital Uganda Vision. These include attaining 90% household connectivity; 90% broadband coverage by geography; and 90% citizens accessing e-services online, among others by 2040.
The Digital Transformation Roadmap for 2023/2024 – 2027/2028 is a strategic framework designed to guide Uganda’s transition into a digitally inclusive and economically vibrant society. Anchored in the Digital Uganda Vision 2040, this roadmap builds upon previous efforts while introducing focused initiatives to achieve a digitally empowered nation.
