Hi Enjuramy, The display result is related to the search display template. You can refer to this reference: Change how search results look by using result types and display templates. For example, if you want to change what column data showing up in the hover pane, you need to change the Hover Panel template.

Due to the recent Microsoft changes to modern search results (displays filenames instead of the title that is populated in SharePoint), we explored the use of 'Result Types' for modern search.

The default result layouts for SharePoint sites, pages, list items and Portable document format (PDF) results can now be replaced with layouts built using adaptive cards. The changes can be made for Organization level search applicable to Office.com and SharePoint home as well as site level search on SharePoint sites.

Result types can be used for select SharePoint content and Graph Connectors content. Content types like files (non-PDF) and people have a standard layout that can't be modified.

ChloeB33 As per my analysis, when you search within SharePoint list, search results will be shown in "List" view and not in "Gallery" view. So, this is not specific to JSON formatting as search results are shown in list view by default.

The Content Search Query Web Part limits the number of results to 50 in the view. In other words, if you search for a very generic term, it will only display the first 50 results in that web part.
