As for the topic, most things have already been mentioned. However as someone that has slowly migrated from maitreya to legacy over time, I'd like to add that Legacy to me feels a bit softer and rounder. A touch more feminine. However the difference is beyond subtle and probably only really noticeable if you peep at your avi all the time.

There is a Wiki regarding Second Life's Avatar complexity which is NOT the triangle/polygon count. Dinkies, because we are a low triangle avatar itself at about 17k triangles, Dinkies can have super high complexity and have 90 avatar events; we could probably even exceed the limit of 90 avatars per region and go up to about 120 avatars per region.

Legacy has a much fuller bust with a more natural shape than Maitreya, the nipples don't point up to your teeth like some other bodies and with good physics, they drape really beautifully. It looks better, to my taste, but especially so at the high and low ends of the spectrum.

All my Maitreya clothing fits the Legacy and many of those fit the Legacy better than they fit the Maitreya. This protects your investment in all those Maitreya-compatible outfits. Most better creators also are now supporting Legacy in they creations. Search Marketplace for "Legacy" and go into the apparel category, sort by newest first.
