Classic: pre-Beta 1.8 brings back the old sounds and removes many sounds to recreate the pre-Beta 1.8 atmosphere (e.g. the underwater and the Nether are quiet again). Classic: pre-1.4.2 same as above but recreates the atmosphere between 1.0.0 ...

These were the sounds used for the cow when they were first added in Minecraft Alpha 1.0.8. They were obviously quickly changed 3 days later in Alpha 1.0.9.

Hello, recently I've been having in interest in old Minecraft versions (I started in Alpha 1.2.0). I recently discovered that in Alpha 1.0.8, the first appearance of the cows, they had drastically different sounds. I was wondering if anybody had the resources from this version of Minecraft that I could download.

I grabbed the old cow sounds off of the Minecraft Gamepedia and put them into the resources folder. They sound bad.
