It makes editing fastflags (basically hidden settings) easier which can be used to improve fps. Simplest one that @fartman1314 is probably mentioning is one that separates render distance and the rest of graphics quality. So you can have a quality of 2 and a render distance of 10. Pretty good qol.
The reason I want to have 1080p (or any resolution really) 60 fps on the highest setting is because for some reason ROBLOX has both render distance and render quality in the same slider, which makes it really annoying to get tons of render distance without sacrificing fps.
