I went through multiple renditions of the closet before settling on a final design. The closets are built on IKEA’s PAX wardrobe frames that come in 3 widths, 2 depths and 2 heights. We have 8-foot ceilings upstairs, so we chose the 93 1/8 height frames.
Overall, I still love my IKEA Pax closet system and think it was worth the cost as well as the time and effort that went into designing and building it. It allows me, for the most part, to keep my clothes organized while also giving me extra room for storage! Plus I love the custom designer look it providers.
