Ours are 15 years old and still in perfect condition. They're very solid and the choice of interior fittings are great. You probably won't find anything comparable for the price (many cheaper wardrobes aren't as deep so you struggle to hang things up and close the door) and there will be many options that cost a lot more but are not significantly better.
IKEA Pax are not fitted wardrobes, they are standalone. Which means you can move them round if you like- but really from my experience of them you never move your wardrobes- they don’t survive house moves, the doors do come loose over time, and you would get better quality from a good local carpenter if you can find one.
