If an applicant is unable to complete and submit existing PVG applications using the old PVG mygov.scot website application link by the 18 November, you will have to apply again. If you have already paid for your applicant’s PVG disclosure, we will refund the cost back to your credit card. There is no need to contact us for a refund.

Disclosure Scotland is moving to the issue of electronic rather than paper PVG certificates, with immediate effect. From now on, applicants will view disclosure results online, instead of receiving paper certificates. You will have to verify your identity to set up an online ScotAccount to access the result.
View available PVG Results: Once you have signed in, you will see your disclosure result that has been processed. Click 'View and share' Check your results: Double check that the information displayed is correct. When you are ready to share your PVG result, click the 'Share result' button, which can be found at the top and bottom of this page.

The deadline to submit new PVG applications is approaching fast. You will only be able to use the existing PVG application link on our mygov.scot website to create new applications until midnight of Wednesday 13 November. From 11am on 18 November, you will be able to make your PVG applications from your Disclosure Scotland online account.
