Create a case. Let’s start by creating a case. Navigate to the Purview portal, eDiscovery, eDiscovery premium and select the ‘cases’ tab. Click ‘Create a case’. In the first screen, we have to create a name, description and Number for the case. The name and description speak for itself.
Create an eDiscovery (Premium) Case: Sign to the Microsoft Purview with Admin credentials. Navigate to eDiscovery (Premium) and create a new case. Add Members to the Case: Add members who need access to the case. Ensure they have the necessary permissions. Create a Collection: Within the case, create a collection to specify the search criteria.
