South Carolina baseball started it’s home SEC series against Florida off with a 9-5 loss on Friday night. The game went into the early hours of Saturday morning after a weather delay halted the game early. Although South Carolina’s pitching staff was able to strikeout Florida batters 10 times, the Gators used a big fifth inning to get the win.

In order to complete a series sweep on the road you need production from up and down the lineup. Two or three guys is not going to get find you three wins. The Gators got exactly that throughout Saturday’s double header.
