Education Scotland has today published the inspection report for Brae High School and Nursery, following a visit by inspectors in June this year. Inspectors spoke to parents/carers and children, and worked closely with the head teacher and staff, and found the following strengths in the school’s work:
As a result of the inspection findings, the school will receive additional support and time to make necessary improvements. PUPILS and staff at Barrhead High are celebrating after an inspection report put it alongside the best ever achieved in Scotland. The Education Scotland team scrutinised four areas of work during the week-long visit, with the school achieving two "excellent" evaluations and two as "very good" – a feat only ever achieved by a handful of schools.
