Calvary Church offers live stream interpreted services every Sunday morning at 10:30 AM for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. You can also join Deaf Bible studies, a choir, camps, and social events throughout the year.
As part of this commitment, we provide a certified ASL interpreter at our 11:30am worship service each Sunday morning, in addition to our Women’s Bible Study on Wednesdays at 9am. Our deaf community also meets for a class taught in ASL each Sunday at 10:15am in Room B3, for a time of study and fellowship.
The ASL-interpreted Sunday services provided by Rock Church Deaf Ministry are a vital component of our efforts to ensure that everyone can access and benefit from our online services. Through the use of ASL interpretation, we strive to break down communication barriers and facilitate a deeper connection with our Deaf congregation members.
DEAF MINISTRY WHO WE ARE The Deaf Ministry provides American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting services for the needs of the Deaf during our live streamed services, as well as special events, as needed. Interpreters are available upon request for church-related events by contacting Tina Jones.
Sign Language Interpreted Services – Interpreters are here to serve every Sunday morning during the 11:00 Worship Gathering. Deaf Worship Service- On the third Sunday of each month, a separate Deaf Worship Service is offered. During this time, all music is led by the Deaf Ministry team and the Bible Story is explained and acted out in ASL.
Every Sunday at 10am our Deaf Community comes together to experience our worship service with an interpreter. All Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and Deaf Blind individuals are welcome!
