Hi D, To achieve this, I think you'll have to forego Word's automatic numbering and use SEQ fields to generate the paragraph numbers. If, for example, you code the SEQ fields in the left column of your table as {SEQ Para} and the SEQ fields in the right column of your table as {SEQ Para \c}, both sets of paragraphs will display the same numbering.
