Simple Bookbinding for the Beginner Page 2 of 10 BL 2024 If binding pre-printed sheets, 4 pages are printed on each sheet, 2 on the front and 2 on the back. These should NOT be printed on the sheets in page order. The correct printing order is a function of the number of pages in each section.
You are going to be binding your paper in eight sheet folios. Of course you could do more or less. I have found eight sheets to be a good number. because you are folding it in half each sheet is going to make four pages of your book, so this eight sheet stack is going to make 32 pages.

Cut the endpapers to the proper size (I like mine set in about 1/4" on all sides except the binding side), then glue them on. This hides the actual binding ("head") strips as well as the gap in the bookcloth. Plus, it's a great way to use papers that are a little too busy for the cover but you still love.
