Order amending ERs 1.5, 4.2, 4.3, and 6.5, Rule 42, Rules of the Supreme Court, and Rules 5.1 and 11, Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure on an emergency basis (access to low or no-cost legal services), effective January 1, 2013, with the matter remaining open for public comment on the modified proposal. Comments due May 21, 2013.

R-23-0016 Order abrogating the Arizona Tax Court Rules of Practice and adopting a new rule set to make some substantive revisions in the former rules and to restyle the former rules by using clearer language, avoiding long sentences and ambiguous terms, and using consistent formatting conventions and terminology, effective July 1, 2025.

The new rule procedure for approval of local rules took effect on January 1, 2017. See Rule 28.1, Rules of the Supreme Court. This process requires the presiding judge to post the proposed changes on the website for that judge’s court for at least 30 days (presubmission comment period).
