New Online Account service now live - Disclosure Scotland
For countersignatories, this means that you’ll be able to apply for and view your PVG digitally using your Disclosure Scotland Online Account. You’ll be able to view results of applications that either you and other people in your organisation have countersigned. Results are available to view for 14 days after they’ve first been viewed.

New changes to applying for PVG and viewing results online
The deadline to submit new PVG applications is approaching fast. You will only be able to use the existing PVG application link on our mygov.scot website to create new applications until midnight of Wednesday 13 November. From 11am on 18 November, you will be able to make your PVG applications from your Disclosure Scotland online account.

This change is part of the Charities (Regulation and Administration) (Scotland) Act 2023. Other measures under the Act, such as OSCR’s expanded inquiry powers, are already in effect.
