Star Graphic Organizer summarizing strategy Directions: Read (and re-read if needed!) the chapter or article you need to summarize. After you have underlined 4-7 keywords or phrases, fill in the sections on the star for (1) Who, (2) What, (3) When, (4) Where, (5) Why, and include other helpful information in the center.
