The Georgia Bulldogs acquired a ton of players via the transfer portal and recruiting this offseason. In total, the Bulldogs brought in 38 new players. Some of it's to replace the massive amount of Georgia Bulldogs that entered the 2025 NFL draft. Regardless, Georgia earned the No. 2 recruiting class and the No. 42 transfer class in the country.

The good news for Georgia is the Bulldogs will get the final opportunity to court Cantwell. The offensive tackle will make an unofficial visit to Georgia the weekend of May 10. Mainly for that reason, On3's Steven Wiltfong argued on April 23 that the Bulldogs are the favorites to land Cantwell.

On3's Steve Wiltfong reported Monday five-star offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell had an "excellent experience" during his weekend visit to the Oregon Ducks. In fact, the visit went so well that Georgia may no longer be the favorite to sign the offensive tackle.
