EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Ascension St. Vincent is warning about a potential security breach regarding patient information. The breach impacts patient information in Indiana, Alabama, Michigan, Tennessee, and Texas. Ascension was alerted to the issue on December 5, 2024.

The company said it's offered two years of complimentary credit monitoring and identity theft protection services to those impacted.

Some Ascension St. Vincent patients across five states, including in Indiana, likely had their information stolen from a former business partner. According to a news release,
