A line of destructive thunderstorms swept across the Springfield, Missouri, area earlier this morning, prompting numerous tornado and severe thunderstorm warnings. Although no tornadoes have been confirmed yet, winds were measured at up to 90 mph on the far west side of Springfield as the powerful line of thunderstorms moved through.
