After years of searching for a way to rescue the crumbling building that once housed Nueces County’s highest judicial courts, the structure may be on its way to coming down. Nueces County officials said Thursday that the Texas Historical Commission had voted to remove the easement and historical designation of the 1914 Nueces County Courthouse.
