Patna: The Economic Offences Unit (EOU) of Bihar Police has warned the public and aspirants against rumours and fraudulent calls by cyber fraudsters to aspirants and parents, luring them to provide answer sheets ahead of the NEET-UG,

The NMC has also put on hold the admissions of 215 candidates pending investigation over their alleged involvement in the paper leak row. The medical body has also debarred 42 candidates from appearing in the NEET-UG examination for three years – 2024,2025, 2026, and nine candidates from the 2025 and 2026 examinations.

Accordingly, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has directed medical colleges to suspend 26 MBBS students who were guilty of engaging in these acts. Besides, admissions of 14 students for the 2024–25 academic year have been revoked because of their engagement in a similar involvement in similar misconduct during the exam.

The Commission has ordered the cancellations of admissions for 14 MBBS students and ordered the immediate suspension of 26 others for using unfair means during the medical entrance test, according to an official source.

Candidates wearing articles of faith for religious or cultural reasons (such as turbans, hijabs, etc.) must report at the exam venue at least two hours before the last reporting time

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will hold the NEET UG 2025 exam on May 4 for undergraduate medical aspirants across the country. The examination will be held from 2pm to 5pm. Admit cards for the exam are available on the official portal - neet.
