Here's what you need to know for early polling places, times and how to apply for a mail-in ballot in San Antonio.

Applications must be received by the Bexar County Elections Office by the end of the workday. Individuals eligible to vote by mail include people 65 or older, individuals who are sick or disabled, and people traveling outside the county on Election Day and during early voting.

APRIL 28, 2025 — Tomorrow is the last day to vote early in the upcoming Bexar County May 3 joint general, special and bond election.

The figure pales in comparison to the start of early voting in November, but local elections historically draw much smaller turnouts than national ones.

More than 40 early voting sites are open across the county. The Brookhollow Branch Library has been the most popular so far.

Southwest ISD voters will likely have to vote in two separate locations if they want to participate in all the May 3 races for which they’re eligible.
