There aren’t any closures scheduled for metro Phoenix freeway improvement projects for the weekend of April 18-21, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT). It’s the Valley freeway system’s first construction-free weekend since the winter holiday break.

According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, a portion of eastbound I-10 will be closed this weekend.

A rollover crash on Interstate 10 left people seriously hurt and parts of the highway shut down in Phoenix Tuesday morning. According to an early report from the Department of Public Safety, the crash happened near 16th Street.

After previously announcing it would close, the owner of CRUjiente tacos said he secured an extension to his lease. He wants to thank the community for its support.

To get around the closure, eastbound drivers can take the Loop 202 or the US 60 to get to the Loop 101, which connects back to the Loop 202 and leads to I-10. Drivers in the West Valley can use the Loop 202 to get around the closure.
